Wow!  What a night.  I spent a good 5 hours in Club Mwah and it was so worth it…

Ok, quick backgrounder.  I had to go to the paint association’s first general meeting, for work.  And the committee, upon the suggestion of the president, decided to hold it in Club Mwah.

At first I was skeptical.  I was like,  “Really? You can do that in Club Mwah?”

But, I went and the place was amazing.  Well, at least it was for me.  And I am so glad I went and the best part of it is IT’S FREE!!!  I didn’t have to spend a dime as my company shouldered everything.  Isn’t it just the best thing ever?

My Latest Addiction

A friend once told me that I am always ahead of them when it comes to discovering new games in Facebook.  Well, I guess I am when compared to them.  But, this is thanks to some of my other friends who are even more of a Facebook addict than I ever was and not to some really good research on my part. 

The thing with me and my addictions, I tend to lose interest after a while.  I haven’t visited my farms and restos in a while because, well, I got bored with them.  Mafia Wars is the only game that has succeeded in keeping me interested up to now.  haha…

So, I don’t know how long my interest in this newest game is going to last.  But, for now, it’s an addiction.

I have always loved Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and it’s sequel Through the Looking Glass.  I think Lewis Caroll fueled my love for fantasy, as it is one of the first fantasy-themed books I ever read, with these works of art.

I loved all the characters, from the Chesire cat to the the Queens.  They all created this alternate world for me.  One where I am overwhelmed, in a good way, by all the colors and images.

And ever since I saw the photos of these three main characters, I have been counting the days til the movie is released.  Now, it is finally here!  It’s finally showing in the Philippines on March 3rd and in 3D.  I can’t wait.

I missed Avatar in 3D but this is one movie that I will definitely watch in 3D.  Which reminds me, I should check out IMAX’s website, you know, in case the tickets get sold-out again.

I just had a scare earlier.  I really hope the kid’s ok.

Ok.  A little backgrounder.  I have to learn how to drive and I have to learn fast.  So, a friend volunteered to let me practice with her car.  We went driving around Las Pinas and Alabang last night.  And, I’m proud to say I did ok.

Then, this morning, we went to Cavite via the Daang-Hari road.  She made me take this route so I can practice driving in “hanging” parts of the road.  We made it to Imus without an incident.  The scare happened n Imus.  We were caught in traffic when my friend noticed the woman inside the jeepney ahead of us.  She was holding her toddler and the kid was vomiting.  What was scary was that the kid was vomiting like he had a faucet instead of a mouth.  And the woman was panicking.

My friend got out and asked what was happening.  There was a traffic enforcer who looked like he was looking for help for the woman.  My friend volunteered to see them to the nearest hospital.  We switched places because there was no way I am going to drive in an emergency like that.  At least, not yet.

And as we were driving them to the clinic the woman kept crying and I was scared for her and her son.  When I looked at him the kid’s eyes looked like it was glazing over and he was having trouble breathing.  I couldn’t look at him long enough.  So, I just looked straight ahead and prayed with the woman.

And I am still praying up to this moment that the kid’s ok.  I think he’s still alive when we got to the clinic.  I just pray that he got attention as soon as possible and that he pulls through.
