Fun, fun…

It’s always fun to be with old friends, especially if you haven’t seen them in a while.

Last thursday I had lunch with a bunch of old friends I met from my old job.  One of them is here for a visit.  She’s based in Germany now and very pregnant.  Of course, the gang just had to meet, catch up, and take some gorgeous pictures.

Actually, only Benjie and I were the early birds.  All of them were late.  hahaha…  :)

New Year and Kare-Kare

4 01 2010

I celebrated the Holidays with just my father and sister.  Mama is already in CA with my other sister and my cousin works in a call center.  He’s on the graveyard shift and had to work during the holidays.

So, we had a pretty simple celebration on the 1st of January.  We just attended mass at 6pm then went to Greenbelt.  And there we decided to try out a relatively new restaurant, Recipes.

Recipes

Recipes served mostly Filipino dishes and we decided on eating there because of 2 things: prices were cheaper than the other restaurants and they had Kare-Kare (Papa’s favorite).

Kare-Kare, Tofu Steak, and Bangus Belly

We only ordered 3 things but it all tasted really great.  For a more detailed review on the food, please check out this link:

And now you will see my wonderful and good-looking family.  What’s left of it.  :)

Beautiful sisters

And yes, we are beautiful.  If you don’t agree, better not let my sister hear you.  :D
